Activities

Northstar has several afterschool clubs and activities that are sponsored by our parent group, Northstar Advisory Committee (NAC).  Each year the offerings change based on student interest and capacity for supervision and sponsorship.  Below is a list of programs offered in the past:

• Guitar Circle
• Northstar Band
• Chess Club/Games
• Science Bowl
• Martial Arts
• Robotics
• Aviation Club
• World Language

All athletic related programs are done at Rose Hill middle school, Kirkland middle school, or your student's home school, not at Northstar.

Students who attend Northstar Middle School are eligible to participate in athletic programs at their neighborhood school as a Sports Only Student.  If you're neighborhood school is to far to arrive in time for practice you can possibly participate at Rose Hill Middle School.  Contact Athletic Director, Rod Smith, with the following info: student name, name of choice school you attend, and the sport for which you wish to register.  That information will allow us to update the student profile and you will be able to register for sports and access the sport specific forms through FinalForms.  Sports Only Students must register/re-register with their resident school each year they wish to participate.
